For cantilevered balconies, WARCO’s floorings are the ideal solution. The lightly elastic balcony tiles can usually be laid directly over the existing flooring. Cracks and leaks can be permanently sealed with ALLESDICHT.
An appendage or projection balcony is typically an added balcony constructed later, often made of wood or metal, attached to the building or supported by posts in front of it.

Finally, the edge tiles are trimmed precisely using a circular or jigsaw saw. Cutouts or curves can be easily achieved with a jigsaw or reciprocating saw.
A natural brown-beige tone reminiscent of tree bark creates a homely atmosphere and harmonises with the rustic sandstone of the masonry.

In most cases, WARCO’s practical balcony tiles can be laid directly on the existing substrate – completely without screws, adhesives or additional substructure. It is sufficient if the substrate is flat, permanently load-bearing and well-drained.
The floating installation decouples the supporting balcony slab from the flooring, thereby avoiding stresses that often cause chipping or breakage in bonded tiles.
Many types of tiles feature an innovative interlocking system that forms a permanently integrated carpet – reversible, so individual tiles can be removed and reinstalled if necessary.

WARCO’s innovative interlocking system is available in three variants: With cut interlocking, an almost seamless, uniformly appearing floor is created. With concealed interlocking, the interlocks remain hidden, producing a classic checkerboard joint, while bevelled edges offer a modern installation pattern.

Walking barefoot on concrete, tiles, stone or WPC shows that these floors heat up in summer and feel cold on cool days. In contrast, the WARCO floor absorbs hardly any radiant heat and provides noticeable insulation against cold floors. This ensures a balanced temperature – perfect for every day, whether summer or winter.
Objective values demonstrate its comfort properties: The heat capacity – the energy required to raise 1 kg of material by 1 °C – is 1.6 kJ for rubber and EPS polystyrene, compared to only 0.8 kJ for marble. In other words, marble heats up twice as fast as rubber.
There is also a clear difference in thermal conductivity: Polystyrene (λ 0.03) insulates exceptionally well, rubber is around 0.16, and marble, with 2.8, is a poor insulator.
Feel-Good Comfort
The tiny air pockets between the rubber granules and the under-surface air cushions of the tiles provide remarkable thermal insulation. In addition, WARCO tiles absorb significantly less solar heat than floorings made from ceramic, natural stone, WPC, concrete or plastic.

The waterproofing is applied easily with a notched trowel, and joints and penetrations are sealed effortlessly and securely.
ALLESDICHT – the rubber coating from the bucket – is ready to use and is applied in at least 2 layers of up to 1.5 mm thickness each. This creates a rubber coating with a stretchability of at least 200%. Thus, the waterproofing remains permanently secure even under high stresses in the balcony tile.
