ALLESDICHT – Waterproofing Coating is a ready-to-use liquid membrane for reliable moisture protection in both interior and exterior applications. Applied directly from the tub using a brush, roller, trowel or airless spray system, it cures to form a seamless and elastic barrier. It offers long-term protection against rising damp and water ingress – ideal for both refurbishment and new construction.

Applications and compatible substrates

Typical areas of use include flat roofs, balconies, terraces, basement walls, floor slabs, junctions and pipe penetrations – especially in locations exposed to moisture. ALLESDICHT adheres strongly to concrete, bitumen, brick, wood, metal, fibre cement, ceramic tiles and well-adhered existing coatings – even on slightly damp substrates.

Simple and safe application

The coating has a smooth, honey-like consistency and is applied in 2 to 3 coats. Each wet layer should not exceed 1.5 mm; the final dry membrane should be 2–3 mm thick. Average consumption is approx. 3.3 kg/m². The product is solvent-free, water-dilutable, pH-neutral and non-irritant – suitable even for confined spaces. Application is recommended at ambient temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. In critical areas, a reinforcement mesh can be embedded between layers.

Certified quality and fire classification

ALLESDICHT is certified to DIN 18533 for use in structural waterproofing and meets fire classification B2 according to DIN 4102-1. It is suitable for contact with standing or pressurised water. Available in black, grey or red, in tubs of 3 kg, 11 kg or 25 kg.

How do I calculate the number of tiles I need for my area?

To calculate how many tiles you need for your project, simply use the online installation planner available in the shop. This free browser-based tool is directly accessible on each product page – just below the price and quantity selection. Click on “Plan installation” to open the tool instantly – no registration or download required.

Enter the dimensions of your area, such as the length and width in metres. The planner will then automatically calculate the total number of tiles required, including a realistic allowance for offcuts. You’ll also be shown a suitable layout pattern for the selected product. The tool is user-friendly, accurate and ideal for planning your material requirements with confidence.

How do you waterproof a terrace?

A terrace can be easily waterproofed with a completely waterproof rubber membrane such as ALLESDICHT. Known as "the rubber membrane in a bucket", ALLESDICHT is a water-thinnable, solvent-free, skin-friendly putty based on finely ground rubber. When dry, it forms a permanently elastic and highly tear-resistant rubber layer. Ready to use, ALLESDICHT has a honey-like, viscous consistency. It can be applied to a variety of substrates including concrete, wood, bitumen and tiles by trowel, brush or spray. Joints and penetrations are easily sealed and can be reinforced with a fabric insert if required. ALLESDICHT is applied in two to three coats to form a highly elastic rubber membrane, at least 2mm thick, that reliably bridges cracks and remains watertight even when water is standing on it.

How is ALLESDICHT applied?

ALLESDICHT is ready to use and must be stirred thoroughly before application. Depending on the type and size of the area to be sealed, ALLESDICHT can be applied by brush, roller, trowel or spray. It is suitable for almost all common substrates such as concrete, wood, bitumen, tiles, etc. The substrate must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and grease - highly absorbent surfaces can be pre-treated with a primer to improve adhesion.

ALLESDICHT is applied in two to three coats, each coat applied wet-on-dry to achieve the desired thickness of the finished rubber membrane (minimum 2-3mm). Each coat should be applied evenly and should not exceed a maximum thickness of 1.5mm. In areas of high stress, such as junctions and penetrations, reinforcement fabric can be used to provide additional strength. When fully cured, an elastic, waterproof rubber membrane is formed that provides reliable protection against moisture and, thanks to its excellent elasticity of 200%, is flexible enough to accommodate substrate movement.

How many coats of ALLESDICHT should be applied?

To achieve reliable waterproofing, the fully dried ALLESDICHT rubber membrane must reach a minimum thickness of 2–3 mm. In practice, a dry film of 1 mm corresponds to a wet layer of 1.5 mm. In the ready-to-use delivered state, at least 3.0 mm to approximately 4.5 mm of ALLESDICHT must be applied.

ALLESDICHT is applied in two, three, or more working passes – each with a maximum wet layer thickness of 1.5 mm and always applied wet-on-dry. The exact number of coats depends on the structural requirements, the substrate, and the environmental conditions.
