Rubber granules products, how to store until installation?

Products made from rubber granules must be stored in dry, shaded and well-ventilated conditions until installation. A level position beneath a canopy or in a carport is suitable. Direct sunlight, precipitation and heat build-up beneath the packaging film must be avoided.

For outdoor storage, the top surface of the pallet stack must be covered to protect it from rain, while the sides remain open to allow air to circulate and moisture to escape. The stretch film must be removed from the sides of the pallet. A fully enclosed cover encourages the formation of condensation.

For longer storage periods, heavy pallets should be partially unloaded and the products distributed across several level pallets. The weight on each pallet should not exceed 250 kg.

Before installation, the products must be completely dry and at an even temperature. Soaked slabs and slabs heated by the sun must not be installed immediately.
