What should I check when receiving my delivery?
Orders placed with WARCO are delivered by either courier or freight.
For parcel deliveries, the courier will bring the package directly to your home and leave a collection notice if you are not available.
Freight deliveries are usually made on the agreed date using a regional lorry. To ensure a smooth delivery, the designated unloading area must be easily accessible. The lorry will be fitted with a tail-lift to enable safe unloading of palletised goods and, where possible, a forklift will be used to bring the pallets to your property.
When you receive your shipment, please check the following in the presence of the driver
- Is the shipment correctly addressed (as indicated on the packing slip attached to the pallet)?
- Is the packaging undamaged?
- Is the delivery complete?
- Are the goods in good condition?
- Have you received the correct items?
If you notice any discrepancies, document them with photographs and have the driver confirm your observations.
Always contact WARCO - preferably by telephone - before refusing a delivery. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
