    Will the carrier call me before delivery?

    We pass on the telephone numbers we have along with the transport order to the carrier. However, in most cases, drivers do not call the recipient before delivery, even if the sender requests it. A phone notification is not obligatory. For shipments via DHL freight, it is advisable that you check the tracking information on the morning of the delivery day to determine which DHL branch is handling your delivery. Call that branch around 8:00 AM, provide your tracking number, and ask for the driver’s phone number to obtain an approximate delivery time. Direct communication between recipient and driver usually ensures a smooth delivery.
