What should you do if the gutter leaks?

A dripping gutter means cracks, corrosion holes or leaking joints. Before you repair it, locate the damage carefully. On zinc gutters, corrosion often sits on the underside. On plastic gutters, cracks usually appear at the connection joints.

Clean and dry the damaged area thoroughly. Apply ALLESDICHT in several thin coats. The coating bonds equally well to zinc, copper, plastic and sheet metal, and stays flexible through the broad temperature swings between summer and winter – a significant challenge for guttering materials.

If the damage is extensive or sections are corroded through, replacing those parts may cost less than repairing them.
