How is an outdoor rubber tile floor cleaned?
When it rains, the rainwater cleans the rubber granulate floor by washing away the permeable tiles and flushing out fine impurities such as dust and airborne particles from the tiles. Even when heavily soiled, cleaning remains uncomplicated: a pressure washer enables fast, deep cleaning that easily removes stubborn residues like dog faeces or food remains. For routine maintenance, common household tools such as a broom (preferably a rubber broom), a squeegee, a vacuum cleaner, or a mop are used. In cases of heavy contamination, neutral cleaners or specialised rubber floor cleaners—and for EPDM surfaces, chlorinated cleaning agents—can simplify the cleaning process.
