How is a rubber tile floor in a building cleaned?
Depending on the area of use and the characteristics of the rubber granulate floor covering, various cleaning methods can be applied. In private households, routine maintenance is carried out using tools such as a broom (preferably a rubber broom), a squeegee, a vacuum cleaner, or a mop. In commercial settings and on larger surfaces, cleaning machines with parameters tailored to the rubber granulate floor are used.
When necessary, neutral cleaners or floor cleaners designed for rubber – and, for EPDM surfaces, chlorinated cleaning agents – can support the cleaning process. When wet cleaning permeable rubber floor coverings in buildings, care must be taken not to submerge the tiles so that water does not seep onto the underlying floor.
In stables and halls with permeable rubber floor coverings and adequate floor drainage, a conventional pressure cleaner simplifies the cleaning and ensures deep cleanliness.
