How do I remove limescale and stubborn dirt from rubber tiles with an EPDM surface?

To clean rubber tiles with an EPDM surface affected by limescale deposits, chalk efflorescence or stubborn dirt, use a mildly acidic cleaner. The biodegradable Sonett Toilet Cleaner Mint & Myrtle has proved effective. Apply it evenly, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently scrub the surface and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Acidic cleaners must not be allowed to dry on the surface.

For routine cleaning, a neutral cleaner is sufficient. Sonett Orange Power Cleaner may be used at the dilution intended for floors. Larger indoor areas can be cleaned using a scrubber dryer with a cylindrical brush; a single-disc machine is unsuitable.

Strongly alkaline cleaners, abrasive products and solvent-based cleaning agents that have not been approved must not be used. Test every new product first in an inconspicuous area.
