Can I specify a requested delivery date when placing my order?
A requested delivery date or a preferred delivery window can be specified when placing an order. WARCO confirms the requested date in writing and takes it into account when planning production and delivery.
The written confirmation indicates that the requested date is scheduled under the current plan and that delivery by that date is intended. It does not constitute a delivery guarantee. A guaranteed delivery date must be expressly agreed separately and requires particular logistical arrangements, such as a corresponding guarantee agreement with the carrier.
Where materials are needed at a particular time, the order should be placed as early as possible. Allow at least twice the normal delivery time and, preferably, three times the normal delivery time. This will usually mean a lead time of 4 to 8 weeks, plus transport time. For groupage consignments within Europe, transport typically takes 4 to 10 days.
Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. WARCO provides the actual dispatch date by email.
For freight deliveries, a telephone delivery notification from the carrier is not included automatically. This is a chargeable additional service. If it has been ordered, the carrier will call to announce the planned delivery date.
