Frequently asked questions

Expansion joints necessary for paver tiles?

Expansion joints are not required within an area of tiles made from Rubber granules.

Temperature, moisture and ageing can result in slight dimensional changes. Their elasticity permits slight deformation and movement between adjacent tiles, so stresses associated with rigid floor coverings do not normally develop.

The tiles are laid continuously, edge to edge, from one perimeter edge of the area to the other.

For installation, the product-specific installation instructions must be followed, including the permitted laying temperatures stated in them.
