Why does WARCO charge a PayPal fee online?
WARCO charges a PayPal fee because prices are calculated on the basis of fee-free payment by bank transfer. Prices are kept low to benefit customers.
PayPal deducts its fee from the amount payable to the recipient as remuneration for its payment service. These costs are not included in the price calculations, and only part of the PayPal fees is passed on: 1%. This approach has been confirmed by case law.
