Liquid waterproofing coverage how many coats are required?

Liquid waterproofing with ALLESDICHT requires two, three or more coats to seal the substrate. For reliable waterproofing, the fully cured rubber layer must be at least 2 to 3 mm thick. Drying reduces the layer thickness by about one third, so a 1.5 mm wet layer becomes approximately 1 mm thick. A total wet film thickness of approximately 3.0 to 4.5 mm is therefore required. No individual coat may exceed a wet film thickness of 1.5 mm, and each coat is applied wet-on-dry.

The number of coats depends on the construction requirements, the substrate and the ambient conditions. At junctions and penetrations, additional coats may be appropriate.
