How is WARCO ALLESDICHT applied correctly?
WARCO ALLESDICHT should only be applied in dry weather conditions - not when there is a risk of frost, rain or snow, or when air and substrate temperatures are below 5°C. WARCO ALLESDICHT can be applied between 5°C and 30°C, with the ideal range being between 15°C and 25°C. The freshly applied, damp material must be protected from moisture, dew and heavy rain. Tools can be easily cleaned with water.
WARCO ALLESDICHT can be applied to concrete, sheet metal, bitumen, wood, plastic or other load-bearing materials. The substrate must be free of dust, oil and grease. Gaps and cracks over 3 mm must be filled with a suitable material. Textured surfaces can be coated without difficulty. A primer is not essential, but is recommended on porous substrates using a standard deep primer.
WARCO ALLESDICHT should be stirred well before application. The fresh material is then applied either with a spatula and smoother or with a brush. For larger areas (from 100 m²), WARCO ALLESDICHT can also be applied by spraying (e.g. airless) using equipment suitable for high-viscosity materials.
Ensure an even application with a maximum wet film thickness of 1.5 mm to avoid running and shrinkage cracks.
Depending on the substrate, environmental conditions (e.g. roof pitch, climatic zone, load) and constructional requirements, WARCO ALLESDICHT is applied in two to three coats. The next coat may only be applied when the film of the previous coat is complete and no material comes off when touched.
Particular attention must be paid to joints and penetrations. These joints should be formed as coved corners. Repeat this process several times to achieve multiple coats. Protect this construction from the elements for at least 48 hours during the drying process. A fabric reinforcement or a joint sealing tape consisting of a sealing layer and a carrier should be installed in these areas. It is recommended that WARCO ALLESDICHT is applied by hand so that the incorporated material is fully penetrated and the coats can be applied "wet on wet".
Any coating of WARCO ALLESDICHT must be protected from mechanical damage. When fully cured, the waterproofing may be subjected to normal or heavy loads. The waterproofing is rainproof after 8 hours drying time.
