How is ALLESDICHT applied?
ALLESDICHT is ready to use and must be stirred thoroughly before application. Depending on the type and size of the area to be sealed, ALLESDICHT can be applied by brush, roller, trowel or spray. It is suitable for almost all common substrates such as concrete, wood, bitumen, tiles, etc. The substrate must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and grease - highly absorbent surfaces can be pre-treated with a primer to improve adhesion.
ALLESDICHT is applied in two to three coats, each coat applied wet-on-dry to achieve the desired thickness of the finished rubber membrane (minimum 2-3mm). Each coat should be applied evenly and should not exceed a maximum thickness of 1.5mm. In areas of high stress, such as junctions and penetrations, reinforcement fabric can be used to provide additional strength. When fully cured, an elastic, waterproof rubber membrane is formed that provides reliable protection against moisture and, thanks to its excellent elasticity of 200%, is flexible enough to accommodate substrate movement.
