The finished terrace floor looks as if it was made of a single piece. Classic granite

The colour design Classic granite can be defined as a middle tone of grey, well-known from the granite pavements. The products in the colour design Classic granite are made of black and grey imbued (fully colourful) EPDM granulate. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a robust, UV resistant and weatherproof rubber for upmarket products. The colour design Classic granite is neutral, not subject to any trends, so that it fits almost everywhere.

The tile is two-layered, but monolithic (from one piece). In the rubber granulate of the wear and visible side it's a newly manufactured, imbued EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). The second, bottom layer is made of the black tyre rubber granulate Styrene-Butadiene Rubber, short SBR. This complex structure is especially favourable for the physical properties and durability of the tile.

Assembly or connection system

Every tile is cut out of a larger format with the highest precision. So the zip toothed strip arises that makes a form-fit connection between the adjacent plates while laying. They build a seamless, connected, positionally stable tile carpet of high durability and loadability. Since the plates' edges are sharply cut, the single tiles in the surface are hardly visible in case of the same colour design.

Structure of the underside

The bottom side of the tile - the one in contact with the base course - is structured over the entire surface. The symmetrically arranged network made of 4 mm deep and 15 mm wide draining channels across the tiles optimises the damping and drainage. The tiles are mounted on a bound base course or on a plastic honeycomb grid. Please take note of the laying instruction.
