This robust kerbstone ramp made of rubber granulate is used to even out some troublesome stairs, thresholds and kerbsides driveways and paths. The rubber kerbstone ramp builds a smooth, easily driveable transition. Typical application sites are the kerbstone driveway, a garage driveway or a hall driveway, a transition between parts of a building, a doorstep or a terrace door.

All types of vehicles can drive on the rubber kerbstone ramp: cars, commercial vehicles, forklifts, but also wheelchairs, rollators, baby buggies or picking trolleys. Depending on the use case, the kerbstone ramp can be simply laid on the ground or, if needed, permanently stuck with a PU glue or a double-sided adhesive tape.

The drainage channels on the bottom side eliminate the backwater. The saltwater-resistant wedge can be applied both indoors and outdoors.

Colour
Anthracite

A car tyre is made of black dyed rubber (SBR). That's why the rubber granulate made of car tyres is also black. During processing with a colourless binder, black products are made. Similarly to the car tyres, the colour changes in these products after a short time from full black to a dark grey, also known as anthracite.

Material

The rubber granulate with irregularly formed particles is obtained from discarded tyres. It mainly consists in the high-valuable mix of natural rubber (NR) and synthetically manufactured Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR). The material properties of the WARCO preform largely correspond to those known from SBR. The granulate with an edge length from 1.0 to 3.0 mm creates fine-grained surfaces.

Assembly or connection system

The wedge element has an anti-skid, rough bottom side. For a temporary use, it can be simply laid on an appropriate base course. In other cases it's good to fix it - preferably with a permanently elastic WARCO PU glue or (for sensitive grounds) with double-sided adhesive tape.

Structure of the underside

A network of 4 mm deep drainage channels across the elements is formed into the bottom side of the ramp - the one in contact with the base course. The elements are laid on an appropriate bound base course. Please take note of the laying instruction.
